This is exactly how I generated over 19 million dollars for my E-Com clients in 2024.
We implemented what I call the “online ecosystem.”
This goes beyond launching some “trending” Meta Ads.
Or running a standard Performance Max Campaign on Google.
This dives deep into the psychology of your customers, what they look like, how they shop, who influences them.
Let me explain what I mean by an “ecosystem.”
So you have a great website it’s a 10/10 design, speedy and flows lovely.
But your ads suck. So, no one is getting to your website.
Now flip it. Your website sucks. The product page is a standard Shopify template. It’s not optimised for conversions.
But your Ads crush, your click-through rate is over 15%, and people are flying to your site.
But you’re not making any sales.
It’s key that your website, ads, content and copy align.
Now you have a cracking website, ads that crush it, copy that screams to your audience and content that relates to the product or brand.
Welcome to your online ecosystem.
You have now made a sales funnel that will chew ad spend and spit back ROAS that make your jaw drop.
Okay, now you understand what an “Online Ecosystem” is here are some tips:
Get rid of your huge “save 10% on your first order” pop-up. Make it subtle. Don’t let it be the first thing people see when landing on your site. Wait 20 seconds.
The product page is the only page you should drive people to, and it needs to keep them engaged.
Focus on customer experience on the product page. What do people want to know? Where are your reviews? Do you have UGC videos on your product page?
Are your ads all about the product? Have you spent countless hours on Canva and ChatGBT and added heaps of writing over your cool design?
KEEP. IT. SIMPLE. STUPID.
Some of the simplest of ads work the best, Product + relatable content = conversions.
Dive into your target market, where they shop, and what ads those companies are running.
Don’t fight the Meta algorithm. Ride that wave,
Meta like that and will reward you for it.
Use people for your video ads. If you can’t afford to pay influencers, ask your mum, sister, or cousin just get someone to help.
Google is a different beast.
You’re competing with brands that have 100k, 200k, a million in ad spend each month.
You need to refine the ads to be more product and brand-specific.
An example, if you sell Bed Sheets, you would do the following.
Use Smart Campaigns for specific niches, like luxury sheets & organic sheets.
Focus on high-intent keywords like "9000 thread count organic cotton sheets" or "luxury king-size sheets."
Stay away from bidding for “bed sheets” “best bed sheets” and anything else ChatGPT told you to do
This is going to maximise where your budget is spent.
Content. Arguably, it is the most important part of this ecosystem.
You are trying to buy attention. Your content must do that.
Think about what made you stop scrolling on social media.
Why did you stop? What interested you about this video, graphic or ad?
Then, think about how you can recreate that to attract the eyeballs of your target market.
Once you figure it out, test like crazy. Test 5-10 different intros, calls to action, selling points, and the list goes on.
You will quickly see what works well and how your audience reacts to it.
Then rinse and repeat until that starts to slow up, and then do it all again.
We have used this very framework to scale businesses from $0 to $1M time and time again.
If you are still reading this, you are the type of person I want to work with.
